Day trip in Manchester

Where do I begin with how beautiful the city is??! Love how busy it is , such a beautiful city with a lot of historic buildings and arciture. Manchester is also known for it's fastest growning city for it's population. Manchester is most famous for it's football team yet also it's known for it's greatest artist such as visual & performance wise.

We first arrived at Manchester Piccadilly station and I must say there station reminded me so much of the London station so big and airy compared to our little station in Leicester, everything looks so put and organised there.

So, not gona lie we kinda got lost there okay the truth is we really really got lost I mean 2 hours of intense walking kind of lost. So, we asked a few people where this and that street was etc but for some odd reason no1 really knew there way around as such was quiet funny but, the main thing we got there in the end (definetly lost my calories for breakfast) which I didn't mind ofc. One little tip always carry flats in your bag if your wearing heels it's a life saver!!

Overall, I was really happy with my recent visit to Manchester it was such a fun and excited day I will most definetly be back but hopefully in a car so I can see more of the city and what it holds.

Much Love Amina

That one blue scarf

Hey guys!!

So, all of you may be thinking wow now that's a random title??! Yes yesss I know , but I started to like the colour blue randomly from now after my recent visit to am Islamic hijab store called 'Al Rahman' just a normal casual look around for new scarfs as we hijabis do , and for the first time (in what seems like agers) I thought I would adventure out and buy a really bright coral blue (Something I never thought I would do in a million years) as am very into my dark colours as you all would know already.

The first ever time I was brave enough to wear this blue scarf was for an evening out with the girls for a nice meal out and the amount of compliments I got was overwhelming. Such a simple piece such as a scarf to an outfit it can change the appearance of the outfit completely. Such a simple piece can spice up such a dull boring outfit and create something beautiful out of it , now am never looking back , It's bright colours for me now wohoooooo (Can't wait for spring)!!

So so I also, thought I would add a cheeky 'Outfit of the day' as you do ;)

Top: Topshop
Chain: Plain gold chain

Inspiring Sundays!

                                                                   Hey guys!!

Its just another normal Sunday except the sun actually came and said 'hey' today which is always nice living here in the UK we hardly get it surprisingly enough (sarcasm)..

If there's one thing I learnt today is to control your emotions not letting your emotions takeover you and your decisions at that very moment, when your upset or sad you just snap easily and sort of feel sorry for yourself (like a loner). The best thing to do is going and speaking to someone and ask for advice or opinion on the whole matter and that's when everything really sinks in.

I been currently feeling very vulnerable and upset over personal issues and what makes me feel better is reading inspirational quotes stuff that relates to me at that time and it just makes me stop and think. I know everyone goes through hard times whether its to do with  family issues, friends etc its up to us to control our minds and emotions. Don't stay alone when your upset go to your 'Happy place' where ever it maybe or just do something silly and crazy , its all about enjoying the moment, life is to short for regrets or disappointments.

So, starting from today I want you all to look at something your going through whether its a sad or good thing and just look at it in a different perspective no matter what the situation is , 'You cant get a rainbow without a bite of rain'  a great example right there! I'd be interested to hear your thoughts in the comment section below.

Free your mind

Some of the common things I like to do in my free time is grab a coffee and sit down and have a good read. It really takes your mind of daily worries and stress and takes you into a whole new adventure , a new world where you put yourself into the character your reading about and re-act there life its just magical. Not only does it release stress it also improves your vocab and knowledge yet also aids into your career.
